Marina de Portimão, Portimão.

The Algarve has a very rich cultural and ethnographic heritage that must be preserved. That is why we have prepared this program for you and your family. Come to know the history of the canning industry in Portimão.

Description of the Course: The course starts at the Portimão Marina, where we continue along the river Arade to Portimão. Here we will visit the Museum of Portimão with its permanent exhibition on the canning industry.
Then we stop at the Maria do Mar shop where you can taste three varieties of canned. We continue our route through the riverside area, while the guide explains the history of Portimão and sardine fishing. We crossed the bridge to the other shore and walked to the fishing port of the charming village of Ferragudo. From here we will return to the starting point by ferry taxi.
